Give your Body a Boost

“In Search of Laughter” is a terrific way to give your body a boost. On April 13, the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford is hosting an evening full of laughter, called “In Search of Laughter”.  Our special guest, comedian Mike Marvel, will delight you with jokes, and stories that will activate your funny bone. Did you know some researcher believe laughter is the best medicine.  It helps you feel better and it puts a spring  into your step.  The effects of exercise and laughter is a great way to boost your heart rate.   Laughter can burn 50 calories in about 10-15 minutes.  With that in mind, join the fun and enjoy a great dinner with the most amazing dinner music by the Schauer Center Youth Orchestra.  Social hour begins at 5 and Dinner at 6 PM.  Cost $25 ticket.  Call Deb Holtan 262-670-7568 or email give@mcfhartford.org.
