Have you hear the news?  The MCF of Hartford received a grant from AT&T.  TAT&T Grant Pic 1he AT&T donation will support P.E.P Talk, which stands for Presentation, Education and Preservation.  P.E.P. Talk is an educational program that teaches youth how to engage in healthy relationships, avoid domestic violence and drug use, and make smart decisions that will impact their futures.

“Through the P.E.P. Talk program, our goal is to educate teens to not only make good and healthy choices, but to also be advocates for others who are victims of sexual assault and domestic violence,”  said Deb Holtan, Executive Director of the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford.  “We are grateful to AT&T for this contribution that will support our efforts to help teens better their lives.”

“We are fortunate to have organizations dedicated to improving lives in our community,” said State Senator Duey Stroebel (R-Saukville).  “This program will help educate teens on the perils of drug use.  As we combat drugs in our community, the Medical Center Foundation through Friends of Abuse Families will positively impact teens in Hartford.”
