Networking is GREAT! The Medical Center Foundation of Hartford wrote a grant to AT&T to help educate community children. It was called the PEP Talk. It stands for Presentation, Education Preservation. In this grant there were all kinds of incredible ways to keep kids safe and to connect them to a safe adult to report to if something happened to them or a friend. The PEP Talk was used in Kewaskum, Slinger, and Germantown. Friends of Abused Families incorporated it into their curriculum presentations. It was awesome. On Friday, AT&T gifted them directly another $1500 to help educate our community children on healthy relationship. Thank you AT&T. Thank you Friends of Abused Families. The MCF of Hartford is so happy to network with you. If you would like more information about the PEP Talk, please contact Deb Holtan at give@mcfhartford.org or call 262-670-7568.
